On Monday, 1st June 2026, Mr. Abdoulie S. Jallow, Program Officer of 4H The Gambia, paid a courtesy visit to the Central River Region North Educational Directorate in Wassu. He was warmly received by Mr. Ebrima Jatta, Principal Education Officer, who welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm.
The meeting focused on 4H The Gambia’s presence in schools, its key areas of intervention, and strategies to build strong collaboration for mutual benefit. Mr. Jatta described the initiative as “timely” and affirmed the directorate’s openness to sharing the information with schools across the region to ensure wider coverage.
“I will share the information with my Director,” Mr. Jatta assured, signaling the directorate’s commitment to supporting youth-focused programs.
This engagement reflects 4H The Gambia’s broader mission of forging partnerships with key stakeholders in education and youth development. It also highlights the organization’s collaborative spirit with partners such as 4H Norge, The Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (TANGO), UNDP The Gambia, National Youth Council – The Gambia, UNICEF Gambia, and the European Union in The Gambia.
Together, these alliances aim to empower young people, strengthen educational opportunities, and create lasting impact across communities in The Gambia.
