The Global Youth Innovation Network Gambia Chapter (GYIN Gambia Chapter) in conjunction with the Gambian-German Advisory Centre (GGAC) within the framework of joint implementation of the activity titled “Agro-Food Processing and Digital Skills for Income Generation”, on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 commenced a training for 28 women, youth and returnee migrants on Digital Skills for Marketing of Agricultural Products.
Held at the Kaira Konko Lodge in Soma, Lower River Region (LRR), the training had begun from the 23rd to 26th April 2024.
The Digital Skills Training is meant for Agro Entrepreneurs from Greater Banjul Area (GBA), West Coast Region (WCR) & Lower River Region (LRR).
The training will equip the Agro-Food entrepreneurs’ (beneficiaries of GGAC agro-food processing and packaging training) with essential digital skills and knowledge in digital marketing to promote or market their businesses/products using digital technology.
By the end of the training, participants are expected to.
- Learn and apply various digital skills.
- Learn and apply digital marketing methods and techniques.
- Create effective digital marketing plans and strategies.
- Create and develop professional social media or E- Commerce platforms.
- Create amd publish creative content (designing and producing graphics, photos, and videos)
