Techworld Oil Company which engages in oil and gas business in the Gambia, and currently operating in 13 locations within the Kombos and Provincial Gambia, with the passion of delivering standard, quality of the services, and creating employment for Gambians, had extended its largesse to communities hosting their Petrol Stations.

It has on Saturday donated over 1000 bags of 50kg rice to various communities. The various Kabilos in Gunjur received about 550 bags of rice, while nine (9) communities in which its petrol stations are located, got 50 bags of rice, each.

The gifts were handed over to the respective beneficiaries at the various petrol stations.
Imam of Gunjur Masjid (Mosque) Yankuba Darboe, commended the company for this timely  support, especially happening in this Holy month of Ramadan. The Imam believes the rice donation came at a time when it’s needed most. He recalled this was not the first time as the company had been supportive to the community over the years.

Chairman of Sinchu Alagie Village Development Committee (VDC) Mr. Pa Masaw Jobe, expressed their appreciation of the generosity, describing it as timely.

Mr. Alieu Saine, the Village Development Committee (VDC) Chairman for Old Yundum said, “this is a gesture we highly welcome and very much appreciate”.

Sanyang village Alkalo Ousman Saidy thanked the company for the generosity, acknowledging this was the second in a row, since the establishment of the company at the community. He said Techworld also supported vulnerable families in the community with cash donations during the Ramadan.
